**Terms and Conditions of La Guarida**
1. **Contract Validity**
This contract is effective from the moment the reservation is made and confirmed with a 30% deposit or the full payment of the selected plan in the corresponding account. The guest agrees to comply with the terms outlined during their stay at our facilities.
2. **Reservations and Payments**
To confirm a reservation, a 30% deposit of the total value of the selected plan is required. The remaining balance must be paid at check-in. Reservations can be made via phone, WhatsApp, PMS, or email. La Guarida accepts payments in cash, credit cards, and debit cards.
3. **Check-in and Check-out Hours**
• **Accommodation Check-in**: from 3:00 PM onwards.
• **Accommodation Check-out**: by 1:00 PM.
• **Flexible Facilities Check-in**: Guests may enjoy the facilities starting at 9:00 AM and stay until 5:00 PM after check-out, at no additional cost.
4. **Number of Guests**
Only the guests who are registered at the time of booking are allowed to stay at La Guarida. Any additional unregistered persons will incur an extra charge per person, according to the rate established at reception.
5. **Guest Responsibilities**
Guests are responsible for their behavior and that of their companions. Any behavior that jeopardizes the tranquility, safety, or integrity of La Guarida or other guests will result in eviction without reimbursement. Additionally, guests are responsible for the care of the objects and equipment provided by La Guarida.
6. **Use of Facilities and Services**
La Guarida offers various recreational activities and services that should be used with caution. Guests must follow the staff’s instructions and adhere to the established safety rules. La Guarida is not responsible for accidents caused by misuse of the facilities or recreational equipment.
7. **Pet Policy**
Pets are not allowed on the premises of La Guarida unless previously agreed upon with the management.
8. **Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy**
La Guarida does not offer refunds for reservation cancellations. In case a guest needs to cancel their stay, rescheduling is allowed upon prior coordination with management and subject to availability. Rescheduling must be done within three months of the original reservation date.
9. **Security and Loss of Items**
La Guarida is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items in the rooms, common areas, or parking.
10. **Events and Meetings**
La Guarida offers event spaces for social or business gatherings. To reserve and organize events, arrangements must be made with management in advance. Basic audiovisual services and catering will be provided depending on the type of event.
11. **River and Recreational Areas**
The river is one of La Guarida’s main attractions, where guests can enjoy its fresh and natural waters. Guests are expected to follow hygiene and safety rules while using the river. Use of the river after 10:00 PM is not allowed.
12. **Contract Modifications**
La Guarida reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be notified to guests through our website or via email.

**Taxes and Additional Charges Notice**
Dear guest,
Please note the following information about taxes and additional charges that may apply to your reservation at La Guarida:
1. **Taxes**:
• **IVA (Value Added Tax)**: All rates are subject to the 19% VAT, according to the current fiscal regulations in Colombia.
• **Tourism Tax**: An additional charge for the tourism tax may apply, according to local provisions.
2. **Additional Charges**:
• **Additional Services**: Any additional service not included in the original plan (such as recreational activities, extra food and drinks, etc.) will be charged separately and must be paid in full at the time of request or consumption or charged to the room account.
• **Additional Guests**: If the number of guests exceeds the limit allowed by the reservation, an additional charge will apply per extra person. The exact values will be provided by our sales advisors or receptionist.
• **Late Check-out**: If check-out times are not respected, a fee of $20,000 COP per additional hour will apply after the checkout deadline.
• **Loss or Damage**: The guest is responsible for any damage or loss of items provided in the room (such as bedding, electronics, or bathroom items). The corresponding charges will be determined and notified according to the cost of replacement or repair.
3. **Payment and Cancellation Policy**:
• **Security Deposit**: In some cases, a refundable security deposit may be required, which will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage or violations occur.
• **Cancellation Policy**: Cancellations with a refund are not allowed. If a guest needs to change their reservation, the stay can be rescheduled, provided the change is notified at least 72 hours in advance. Rescheduling must take place within three months of the original reservation date. Reservations can only be rescheduled twice at most.
