**Terms and Conditions - Hostel Doña Gloria**
1. **Contract Validity**
This contract becomes effective once the reservation is confirmed with a 30% deposit or the full payment for the selected plan. The guest agrees to comply with the terms and conditions established during their stay at our facilities.
2. **Reservations and Payments**
To confirm a reservation, a 30% deposit of the total value of the plan is required. The remaining balance must be paid upon check-in. Reservations can be made via phone, WhatsApp, email, or booking platforms. We accept payments in cash and credit/debit cards.
3. **Check-in and Check-out Hours**
- **Check-in accommodation**: From 3:00 PM.
- **Check-out accommodation**: Until 1:00 PM.
- **Flexible check-in for facilities**: Guests may enjoy the facilities from 9:00 AM and stay until 5:00 PM after check-out, with no additional charge.
4. **Number of Guests**
Only the guests registered at the time of the reservation will be allowed to stay at the hostel. Any additional unregistered person will incur an extra charge per person, according to the established rate.
5. **Guest Responsibilities**
Guests are responsible for their behavior and that of their companions. Any behavior that jeopardizes the safety, tranquility, or integrity of the hostel or other guests will result in eviction without a refund. Guests are also responsible for the care of the items and services provided by the hostel.
6. **Use of Facilities and Services**
The hostel offers various recreational activities and services that should be used with caution. Guests must follow the staff's instructions and comply with safety regulations. The hostel is not responsible for accidents caused by improper use of the facilities or equipment.
7. **Pet Policy**
Pets are not allowed within the facilities, unless prior agreement with the management.
8. **Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy**
Hostel Doña Gloria does not offer refunds for cancellations. If the guest needs to change their reservation, the date can be rescheduled, provided it is notified at least 72 hours in advance. The rescheduling must occur within three months following the original reservation date.
9. **Security and Loss of Items**
The hostel is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items in the rooms or common areas.
10. **Events and Meetings**
The hostel does not have event halls but small gatherings can be coordinated in common areas, with prior authorization from the management.
11. **Recreational Areas**
The hostel’s recreational areas are available to all guests. Hygiene and safety rules must be followed. The use of common areas is allowed until 10:00 PM.
12. **Modifications to the Contract**
Hostel Doña Gloria reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be notified to guests through our website or email.

**Taxes and Additional Charges Notice**
1. **Taxes**
- **VAT (Value Added Tax)**: All rates are subject to the 19% VAT, in accordance with the current tax regulations in Colombia.
- **Tourism Tax**: An additional charge for tourism tax may apply, according to local regulations.
2. **Additional Charges**
- **Additional Services**: Any extra services (such as food and drinks, recreational activities, etc.) will be charged separately and must be paid at the time of request or consumption.
- **Additional Persons**: If the number of guests exceeds the limit allowed by the reservation, an additional charge per extra person will apply. The exact values will be provided by the reception staff.
- **Late Check-out**: If the guest does not comply with the check-out time, a penalty of $20,000 COP per additional hour will be applied for staying beyond the check-out time.
- **Loss or Damage**: The guest will be responsible for any damage or loss of items provided by the hostel (such as bed linens, electronics, etc.). Charges will be determined and notified based on the replacement or repair cost.
3. **Payment and Cancellation Policies**
- **Security Deposit**: In some cases, a refundable security deposit may be required, which will be returned at the end of the stay if no damages or violations occur.
- **Cancellation Policy**: Cancellations with refunds are not allowed. Reservations can be rescheduled with at least 72 hours' notice. The rescheduling is only valid within three months of the original reservation date.
